StepSafe does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:
- Personal identification information (e.g., name, email)
- Health or medical information
- Location or GPS data
- Sensor data history
- Usage analytics or behavior tracking
3. Emergency Contact Information
If you enter an emergency contact phone number, it:
- Is stored only on your local device
- Is used only to initiate a call during a detected fall event
- Is never sent to our servers (we do not operate servers for StepSafe)
4. Local Data Storage
All app-related data — fall history, emergency phone numbers, settings — is stored securely on your device and is not accessible to us or third parties.
5. No Third-Party Services or SDKs
StepSafe does not include any third-party tracking SDKs. We do not show ads, and we do not share any data with external services.
6. Children's Privacy
StepSafe is intended for users aged 14 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under this age.
7. International Users
Because we do not collect data, privacy principles aligned with GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), and PIPA (Korea) are respected by design.
8. Your Rights
Because we do not store user data externally, there is no need to request data access or deletion. If you delete the app, all locally stored data is removed.
